Szczyrk Mountain Resport
Distance from the guesthouse Przystanek Góry – 1.5 km
Szczyrk Mountain Resort is one of the biggest ski centres in Poland. Located in the Silesian Beskid Mountains on the slopes of the peaks Małe Skrzyczne 1211 m above sea level and Wierch Pośredni 1000 m above sea level, every year it attracts tourists from Silesia, Małopolska, Mazovia, as well as the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The centre has over 22 km of varied ski runs (including 5 km of lighted). Thanks to this, every fan of white madness will find something for himself. Since the 2017 season, thanks to the cooperation with the Central Sports Centre and the Beskid Sport Arena, clients of the centres can use a common ski pass, which offers a total of 40 km of slopes.
Skrzyczne cableway
Distance from the guesthouse Przystanek Góry – 1 km
Amateurs of madness on the snow will surely be happy to enjoy the ski tracks on the Skrzyczne slope. The resort offers a total of more than 10 km of ski runs of various levels of difficulty. In addition, one of them even has FIS homologation, which makes it possible to organize competitions of international rank. An unquestionable advantage of this ski resort is not only well-prepared ski slopes but also a cable car equipped with four-seater sofas.
Beskid Sport Arena
Distance from the guesthouse Przystanek Góry – 3.9 km
Beskid Sport Arena is a year-round sports centre. In the summer, you can slide down there on artificial grass. However, the biggest attraction is the winter snow madness. In the winter season 2020/2021, the resort offers 4 ski slopes with the total length of 3.2 km and the area of 8 ha. They are suitable for people with different levels of advancement. For beginners, the ideal route will be route No. 4 located on the upper clearing of the Beskid Sport Arena with beautiful views of the Silesian Beskid mountains. The most popular among skiers is ski slope No. 1, 1200 m long. Its attraction is a 50 m long tunnel, which enables a smooth ride under the ski run No. 3. More advanced skiers can use the red ski run No. 2 and the black ski run No. 3, which is a slalom run with the length of 800 m and gradients reaching 45%. Importantly, all the ski slopes are lighted, and the total capacity of the railway and ski lifts is about 4 thousand people per hour.
